This page explains how to delete your Bookeley account and the data associated with it. It applies to the Bookeley app on Google Play and the App Store.
How to delete your account from inside the app
- Open Bookeley.
- Tap the profile icon to open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Answer the parental verification question. This step exists so that a child cannot delete the account by accident.
- Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted.
How to request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app — for example because you have already uninstalled it — write to bookeley@startabas.com with the subject line Account deletion. Tell us the email address or user ID associated with the account if you know it. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

| Purchase and transaction records | Retained for the period required by applicable tax and commercial law, then deleted | We are legally required to keep records of sales. These records are held by Apple, Google and our subscription provider, and are not linked to your child. |
| Backup copies | Removed within 30 days of deletion | Deleted data may persist briefly in encrypted backups before those backups expire. |
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the app store, not by us. Cancel yours in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, or in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on iOS.
Timing
In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Deletion requested by email is completed within 30 days. You will not be asked to give a reason, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
